Avery Richardson (Roberts Wesleyan University Redhawks ’27)

Avery joined the 300+ college career saves club in 2024. As a freshman she finished the 2023 season as the NCAA Division II leader in saves per game. Avery averaged 16.33 saves per game in 12 games played to lead the country. The Syracuse native made 196 total saves. Avery was recognized by Synapse Sports (9/26/23) as the Division II ‘Rookie of the Week’.

“Working with Knowlesy has allowed me to grow into a well-rounded player! On the field, he helps us pick apart what we need to work on and implements that into a fun drill. One thing I love about Knowlesy is that if a drill he creates doesn’t quite feel right or hit what we (the goalies) want to work on, we can tweak the drill and try it again as much as we want. Besides just on the field, Knowlesy has helped me transform my mental game! Through our “mindset meetings” he’s helped me find ways to cope with stress and moments of low confidence during games and practices. Overall, Knowlesy has helped me grow into more ways than one, upping my game to a whole new level!“
